I retired after 28 years of public school teaching and realized I still had a lot to give. I have been doing online and in person tutoring since then.

My very favorite thing to do with students is reading enrichment or reading remediation.

I enjoyed the challenging students and helping them to learn. I deal with autistic children, children with behavior disorders and the average student that you might have. I taught special-needs students so I’m very good at figuring out what the problem is and how to go around it and learn.

We can work from a plan at the school has given you or I can suggest materials. I see tutoring as a partnership between the teacher, the student and myself as well as the family.
