Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First session is always free so they know whether or not I am a useful tool for their success.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have excelled and completed all math that I tutor.
Graduate of Valencia college and UCF.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
20$/hr, no longer than 2 hours per session
How did you get started teaching?
I started tutoring in 2011 in college. Always received praise for lessons and developed a love for math ever since!
What types of students have you worked with?
High school and college students, mainly.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Give the person a chance and you should know how reliable/useful they are after one session. Don't settle for less. If that tutor isn't helping you, move on and look for someone who can adapt to your style of learning. If you're confused, always ask questions!
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Be honest about what you're struggling with. Ask if they can help with those weak points. Ask them about fitting you into their schedule. If your schedules are not compatible, try a different tutor.
