Maeven The Tutor

Hello, my name is Maeven Blankenship, and I am excited to begin this journey of providing dedicated support, learning, and care for children and families. Working with children has been a passion of mine for many years. I began gaining experience at the age of fifteen and have continued dedicating my life to helping children learn, grow, and reach their full potential.

Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of working with children with a wide range of abilities and needs. I have volunteered with students with diagnoses including Autism, Down syndrome, physical disabilities, learning disabilities, and behavioral disabilities. These experiences have strengthened my understanding that every child is unique and deserves patience, encouragement, and opportunities to succeed.

I am a veteran teacher with ten years of experience in special education, including working in both resource room settings and self-contained classrooms. My approach is centered around meeting each child where they are academically, socially, and emotionally, then creating individualized support to help them continue to grow.

Building strong interpersonal relationships is at the heart of my work. I believe children learn best when they feel valued, understood, and supported. I strive to create an environment where every child is treated with respect and dignity while being encouraged to discover their strengths and develop confidence.

My goal is to provide meaningful, personalized experiences that help children thrive—not only academically, but in all areas of their development. I am honored to continue serving children and families through this new opportunity.
