I love empowering kids and families when it comes to academic achievement and learning and school. Families have been largely written out of their kids education--and that is WRONG! Parents are the first and primary teachers of their own children. I love to put that power back into your hands.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I like to do a 15-20 minute free consultation via zoom. If I believe that I can help you I will. If I believe I cannot help you, I will let you know. My goal is the success of the student more than money.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a certified and endorsed educator, Master's degree level and highly qualified in 3 states. I have taught for 14 years and subbed for 5 years prior to that. I also have experience in project management.
But that's not important. What works goes beyond my academics is that I dig into what a student really needs and work a plan with the student, their support system, and myself to make sure the student continues to be successful long after I'm gone.

No. My pricing is based on depth of need and length of service.
How did you get started teaching?
I have always taught. I started out teaching my first group as an 8th grader. I got to teach a group of kindergarteners everyday instead of study hall. I have taught choirs, piano students, tutored, taught Sunday School and VBS. I substitute taught in 2 districts in between projects before pursuing my teaching degree. I have taught for 14 years, mostly middle school honors and advanced math courses. I have also tutored and coached students of all ages in core subjects, test prep, and life skills.
