Hello, I am Sharon and have over 20 years of teaching experience with students of all ages from elementary to college level, as well as adult learners for business purposes. My credentials are the following: Master's Degree: 1- Teaching English As A Second Language 2- Early Childhood Education Birth to 3rd grade Bachelor of Science Degree: 1- Elementary Education 1-8, Language Arts 4-8, Social Studies 4-8. As an Elementary Teacher, I taught students, Reading Comprehension & Literacy, as well as Phonics, Grammar and Writing Skills. I have also taught English As A Second Language to the following groups of students: Elementary Students, College Students in Graduate School, and Adult Immigrants and Refugees. I love helping and meeting with people who are from all over the world as well as native students who need help with their Reading/Language Skills. It brings me great joy to know I have made a difference in the lives of my students and have helped them to obtain better lives through learning vital communication skills in English Language Learning. I also have a musical background and play the horn, piano, and sing. I love using music to teach reading and language skills to students because it makes learning more enjoyable and memorable to students.
