Riopedre K-12 Tutoring
About
After graduating from high school, I am looking forward to college this coming fall. I love to share what I have learned from my education at Mary Institute and St. Louis Country Day School. I have received academic accolades for my prowess in English, as well as the AP Scholar with Honor Award. I have also received numerous honors for academic standing for each trimester of my high school career.
I enjoy tutoring because I love to help others feel more in control of what they're learning. I know that it is easiest to learn and grow when you feel confident, and that confidence is what tutoring gives to students.

Frequently asked questions
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have attended MICDS, a rigourous college prep school. Through my school, I have had the opportunity to work with many of my classmates and with younger students to perfect a multitude of projects, most being English and history essays.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Students should make sure to come into a tutoring session with a focus as to what kind of help they need. While it can be common for students to be unsure about many different aspects of their work, it is important to take the steps to carefully review what you have worked on and identify which areas are causing the most trouble for you.
