I am dedicated to helping others experience how much education can change their life. By tutoring in general competency (such as English grammar) or specific skills (such as video editing or essay writing), I hope to help my students achieve their larger goals, whatever they may be.
Education: Master's in media, Bachelor's in film, and Bachelor's in linguistics.
Subjects: I can tutor ACT/SAT prep, English, writing, basic/intermediate filmmaking and video editing, film history and criticism, and linguistics.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
The first thing I do when working with a new student is to communicate with them clearly about what they want to achieve and to get a sense of their current skill level (through some basic questions or an assessment test), so that I can develop a lesson plan that works best for them.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have one year of experience as a full university instructor, two years as a university teaching assistant, and two years as a tutor. This experience gives me a wide variety of teaching methods that I can use depending on the needs of the student.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with a variety of students, from 6th grade to college and beyond.
