Shortt K-12 Tutoring
About
I am passionate about helping students succeed in a K-12 environment. I have had a passion for school since I was young, and I want to pass that passion on to younger students and teach them how to find joy in learning.
I am a current college senior who has maintained a 3.9 GPA throughout college as well as a 4.0 GPA in high school. I am majoring in accounting with a minor in political science. I scored a 32 on my ACT in 2019, was chosen as an Iowa Governor's Scholar in 2020, and have received numerous awards from the Scholastic Art & Writing Awards in 2019 and 2020. My strengths primarily lie in the liberal arts (especially English), however, I am also proficient in math up to the Algebra II level. Additionally, I have experience with the boarding school admissions process (and am an alumnus of a boarding school). I am happy to provide assistance in completing boarding school applications and studying for the ISEE/SSAT.
