Hello there! My name is Tahoor Haque, I am a rising senior that has just took the ACT. As such, all content from k-11 is fresh in my mind. I am not totally comfortable teaching English and Reading, although I did get a 35 and 36 respectively on each subject. However, if the student is willing then I am also willing to try. My specialty is in math, as long as its not calculus.(Yet) I like to understand the way a student learns and tailor my teaching methods based on their individual needs. I will take feedback from parents and student into account.

I am entrigued with math. Math is my passion, and in order to understand the subject, it must be taught in simple layman's terms. Every aspect of a problem needs to be understood before the problem can be solved. In college, I had brilliant math instructors that helped me understand how to go about problem solving. I am just starting out tutoring, but I believe I have the necessary skill-set to teach. Math is everywhere in the world.

I graduated from the University of Missouri, Columbia with a Bachelors degree in Chemical Engineering with a minor in mathematics.
