I am an active English teacher that has experience teaching online and in the classroom. My biggest strengths as a teacher are explaining how to do things in a different way than your other teacher did. I also find exciting and relevant ways to relate course material to your life.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Depending on the help a student needs, I would email to discuss what they need help with. I would then collect relevant material and develop a study session for the student.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a fully certified and employed teacher in the Springfield area. I have been teaching for six years and have a wide knowledge base.
In addition I have taught online and worked as a writing tutor during college. I am familliar with all levels of writing and would be glad to assist.
