About
Hello! My name is Laura Schumer. I have my Elementary and Early Childhood certification. I have been teaching since 2003. I have taught preschool, kindergarten, and first grade. I graduated with my B.S. in Elementary Education from Kansas State University. I received my M.A. in Mathematics from the University of Central Missouri. However, my passion is teaching reading.
I have taken many graduate level courses (30+ hours) in reading. I have completed both the Elementary and Early Childhood LETRS (Science of Reading) courses. I would love to help your child become more confident in their reading and writing!
