I am a 17 year old attending both high school and college. I believe this is an advantage because I can better understand these new math concepts due to the fact that I am still studying them. I have passed all math classes through college algebra with an A grade, and I am currently enrolled in Statistics at St Charles Community College.
I love helping people. I also enjoy math. A combination of the two makes a perfect fit for what I do. I have always wanted to start businesses and I think this is a good way to help out the community while employing myself.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
What I have done in the past to help people is to give them a new problem based on what they are working on, and have them work it on their own. As I watch the student work it on their own, I can see their step by step process of thinking. This way, I can see what parts of the problem they are struggling with. The best way to master math is through repetition. I will repeat this process with new problems each time (based on what the student is working on) until the student fully understands the process and can work through a new problem with ease!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am currently enrolled in Statistics at St Charles Community College, we well as two non-math classes at fort zumwalt south high school as a senior, and I passed all my math classes in high school with A grades. I have always helped people with their math homework, especially my little brother who is now a sophomore in high school. I have been quite successful helping him, and I think the fact that I am still in high school, I will better be able to understand this new way of math that they are teaching.

I charge by the hour. With my experience in helping students along with my experience in college math classes, I charge $17/hour. I prefer to be paid through CashApp, Venmo, or PayPal, but cash is fine as well.
