Jocelyn Jones

I am a classroom teacher that has a decade of experience in Elementary Education. During these past 10 years I have taught English as a Second Language, 1st grade, 2nd grade and 3rd grade. I have a passion for teaching for teaching all things English Language Arts: phonics, grammar, fluency, reading comprehension and writing. When working with students, I build relationships and create high expectations to create a learning environment that is warm and welcoming. I aim to create a space, in person or online, where students can feel comfortable making mistakes and growing . As a homeschool teacher or tutor I am patient, kind, reassuring, and provide instant and constant feedback to students and their parents.
