I worked with Lexi during my senior year of college. I was applying to graduate school and she was able to help me with my essays. Lexi was very kind and open with me the whole time, and didnt make me feel bad about what I needed help with.

    Frequently asked questions

I first assess where the student feels they need improvement, then I focus on their strengths to ensure that they feel comfortable building on what they already have accomplished.

I earned two Bachelor's degrees last May, and over the course of my undergraduate career, I worked in several circles of teaching and building bridges across different communities. My English senior thesis project was a creative work, an independent writing project that I have been steadily making progress on to prepare it for publication. I also have experience as an intern with a literary magazine that has a national audience, and am comfortable editing and reviewing many forms of writing.

I am open to whatever pricing works best for my clients; I charge a standard $15/hour as a base, but I am willing to negotiate if circumstances make that a hardship.

I am new to teaching in a professional capacity, however, I have worked with other students throughout my schooling career to help them better understand whatever material we were presented with, and several of them recommended me to this profession. I enjoy the process of helping someone to understand what they didn't before.

Students should be familiar with the areas they need the most help with and should know that this space is one of non-judgment and of patience. I am here to help. It is my job and my pleasure to take as much time as you need to become comfortable with the areas that you are struggling with; together we will tackle the problems and get you to a place of strength.
