Learning With Grace

My name is Grace Sieber and I am a pre-med student passionate about psychology and neuroscience. I love to help young students with math, reading, writing, and the sciences. After tutoring throughout high school, I noticed students who struggle in school due to a lack of interest and a fear of failing. My philosophy is to cater to a child's natural ability to think creatively and think outside the box. A lot of teaching methods try to get the child to copy a process, which might not always work for every kid's brain. I believe in treating each student as intelligent and fully capable of understanding concepts. Therefore, I will not only help the student to learn a process or method, but I will help them to grasp the "why" and understand the meaning behind these simple processes. My goal is to leave students feeling encouraged, smart, and confident in their abilities. Learning with Grace is all about positivity, patience, and treating kids as the intelligent, capable students they are.
