About
My goal for the students I tutor is not just to help them improve their grades, but to help them to thrive. I teach various subjects from English to Medical Terminology, but I also teach students study methods that I have found helpful and encourage them to do than just memorize information. I want them to learn and flourish in their studies, and I believe that together, we can make this happen.
I enjoy watching as students learn, grow, and make progress. I find it extremely rewarding to know that I've been able to help someone. Ultimately, it is my hope that the students I'm working with will eventually reach the point where they no longer need my help and can continue to thrive on their own.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Typically, I am willing to work with just about anyone as long as scheduling lines up. I like to give students three sessions before deciding whether we're a good match to be working together or not.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a high school graduate who will be starting college in the fall of 2019.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
My standard rate for tutoring sessions is usually around $30 an hour, but sometimes varies depending on travel and preparation.
How did you get started teaching?
I started tutoring simply because I'm an older sister, so I already had experience. I often help my 7th grade and 10th grade sisters with their homework, and I used to help my peers and fellow students quite often as well. Since teaching and helping others is something I enjoy, I figured it'd be an easy way to help pay for college.
