Rittenhouse Tutoring

Rittenhouse Tutoring is an independent, personal, and practical tutoring service for the study of the Humanities. We work with students of all ages who desire to enhance their writing, reading, and critical thinking skills. John Canavan has a B.A. in English Literature (minor in Political Science) from Temple University in Philadelphia and a M.Div. from Covenant Theological Seminary in St. Louis. He is currently working on a Th.M. with research in the New Testament from Covenant Theological Seminary. He has worked as a Teaching Assistant at the Graduate level and taught Middle School, High School, and Undergraduates in church settings in Philadelphia and St. Louis. He has college credits in Writing, English Literature, History, Theater, Philosophy, Religion, and Political Science. He has graduate credits in Biblical Studies, Theology, Koine Greek, Biblical Hebrew, Ethics, Counseling, and Church History.
