I teach and tutor Mandarin Chinese language and English. English is my native language. My BA from the U of MN is Asian Languages & Literatures, focused on Chinese language & culture, with a 2nd major in Global Studies. After studying Chinese at the U here, I went thru the U to study in China. I subsequentlyl spent near 20 years in Asia, mainly in Mandarin speaking areas. I studied at universities in both China and Taiwan - in Taiwan I studied 4 years of Classical Chinese language, and received scholarship for one year while there.
