For my daughter it was really important for her to see and work with an accomplished African American female and Lenora did not disappoint. She is very knowledgeable, flexible and patient and because of this my daughter went from C grade in algebra to a B+. Without Lenora’s ability to make math simple and plain this would not have been possible. We plan on working with her throughout the rest of high school as well as college. If anyone is looking for a math tutor, you can’t go wrong with Lenora.

I contacted Sai at a short notice to tutor my daughter on the math portion of the ACT. Sai, although very busy, was able to take her on and tutored her a handful of times before the exam. For the first time my daughter actually finished the math portion of the exam which would have never happened had it not been for Sai. Now, I’m glad to report that the ACT scores came back and my daughter’s math score went up from 27 to 31. Her total ACT score is now 33 which was her goal. Thank you SO much for all your help Sai!! We just moved to the US from Korea and the change has been very tough for my kids. They are not familiar with the US school system and falling behind. I saw their confidence draining. But all of that changed when SoFlo came into the picture. To start, they gave a free assessment so they could figure out where my children were struggling. From there we had weekly tutoring sessions that my kids actually enjoy. I am seeing their confidence return and life in the US get better for them

While I was attending the University of Wisconsin Superior Mr. Dane Zagar was a very close friend, and my roommate, throughout the majority of my time at the school. When I was struggling in my math classes he was the first one to always lend a hand and help me out, without a second glance. Dane Zagar made things much easier to understand, and helped me figure out many different ways to solve problems. I had always been horrible at solving word problems in math, because I never knew what formulas to use and how to set the formula up correctly. Mr. Zagar found my main issue and made sure I knew how to set up the formulas much easier. Dane was also really good at going over my homework and helping me figure out exactly what part I got wrong, and thus what I needed to work on the most. My grades in math went way up due to his help! When it comes to chess lessons, I also took them under Mr. Zagar. Dane helped me learn the game much more than I already knew. I was never very good at chess, but he helped me to the point where I was able to skillfully compete with some of the members at his local chess club in Superior, WI pretty well! I went from wanting to play chess very little, to always wanting to play chess with him, and wanting to learn different strategies to help better my game. I think the trick was that Dane found ways to make learning the game of chess enjoyable. 5 STARS! HIGHLY RECOMMEND MR. DANE ZAGAR FOR CHESS AND MATH!

Tanner was a great tutor for our son for several years. He was very knowledgeable in every subject we needed help with (geometry, algebra, precalculus, chemistry, and physics). If concept or how it was being explained wasn’t understood, Tanner was always able to find an alternative approach that that clicked with our son’s learning style. He was always very flexible with his scheduling and considerate of our time.
