About

I am a sophomore Neurobiology major at the University of Wisconsin Madison with a multidude of tutoring experience with children of my community back at home in Minnesota. Learning a great passion of mine, teaching is my favorite way to not only share knowledge but to keep learning myself. Not to toot my own horn, but I like to say I'm pretty easy going. All the kids I have coached in lacrosse, nannied, and tutored in Spanish and Math have gotten along with me very well!

My experience with tutoring has shown me that every student learns at a different level, in different ways. In that sense, I always consider my students needs and abilities before creating a study plan or schedule for our sessions. Learning is critical for everyone but especially for children which is why I became a tutor. In being a tutor I get the pleasure of encouraging and enhancing the learning of children in my community.

I love working with children, always have. I have volunteered as a tutor for after school programs at Orono (SPARKS), and was involved in Orono High Schools Unified club. So I am experience with, and passionate about working with kids of ALL ages and ALL abilites. Please reach out if your child is in need of summer tutoring!

    Frequently asked questions

I graduated in 2018 from Orono High School with a 3.94 GPA and a 34 on my ACT. Currently, I am enrolled at the University of Wisconsin Madison and will begin my sophomore year this fall of 2019.

I have tutored and nannied throughout high school and college. My past students needed tutoring in Spanish, and Math so those are the two subject I have most experience with.

I have worked with College Nannies and Tutors as a nanny and have received tutoring from them for my ACT test. I have had experience on both ends of tutoring so I have a good understanding of what works and what doesn't work so much.

My most recent tutoring job was $25/45 min so about $33/hr.

Depending on the subject/level, the age and the duration of the lessons my clients desire, I can give an accurate estimate of what I will charge per hour of tutoring.

My range will most likely be around $17/hour - $35/hour. I can also offer a pay-per-session rather than hour option.

I love working with children, always have. I have volunteered as a tutor for after school programs at Orono (SPARKS), and was involved in Orono High Schools Unified club. With this said, my work has been with students ages 5 to 15 and students with autism, aspergers, down syndrom, ADHD and other learning disorders. My experience tutoring students with learning disorders is not as extensive, but I am more than willling to learn and tutor along side any child.

I am experienced with, and passionate about working with kids of ALL ages and ALL abilites. Please reach out if your child is in need of summer tutoring!
