Hello everyone! It’s a pleasure to meet you here!

I am a senior at Texas Christian University, and I am set to graduate this coming December! I am double-majoring in Communication Studies and Chinese, having frequently earned a spot on the Dean's Honor List. I have always been deeply interested in languages ​​and communication, as I believe that language is not merely a skill, but a vital means of connecting people and gaining a deeper understanding of the world around us.

I am fluent in both English and Chinese, and I hold the Minnesota Bilingual Gold Seal in Chinese from the State of Minnesota. As a language learner myself, I fully understand the challenges involved in acquiring a second language, such as the hesitation to speak up, difficulties with tones or grammar, or feeling that one's expressions sound unnatural. Therefore, I approach my teaching with great patience, guiding you step-by-step in a simple and clear manner to help you improve your language proficiency!

Outside of academics, I love to travel; my favorite destinations so far have been Thailand and Africa. These experiences have broadened my understanding of diverse cultures and allow me to share authentic, engaging topics during our lessons. I also enjoy sports, particularly playing tennis, as athletics have taught me the values ​​of perseverance and focus. Additionally, I cherish spending time with my family and friends, as I believe that effective communication stems from genuine human connection.

Through my teaching, my goal is not simply to help you learn a language, but to empower you to express yourself with greater confidence enabling you to truly use language as a bridge to connect with the world!
