About
Hi all! My name is Maggie Cristoforo! A little about me — I graduated with honors from the University of Minnesota with a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience and a minor in Biochemistry. During my undergraduate career, I worked as a Teaching Assistant in the biochemistry department and as a research technician. Through these experiences, I developed a strong passion for science education and discovered how much I love helping students build confidence and understanding in challenging subjects.
I am currently finishing my Master’s of Occupational Therapy at the University of Wisconsin–La Crosse, where I also worked as a Teaching Assistant. Throughout both graduate school and my previous teaching experiences, I have loved connecting with students, adapting to different learning styles, and helping make complex concepts feel approachable and manageable.
My background in neuroscience, biochemistry, anatomy, physiology, mathematics, and healthcare gives me a strong foundation to support students across a variety of STEM courses. I pride myself on being patient, encouraging, and able to explain material in ways that are easy to understand. Whether your child needs help improving grades, preparing for exams, building study skills, or simply gaining confidence in school, I would love the opportunity to help them succeed and reach their goals!
