Marcus was very helpful in both physics classes I took. He was attentive, a good listener, and had no problem going back a step if I was confused. He was able to frame the problems in a way that made sense to me and then challenged me with other problems to practice my learning. He was very patient and understanding every time we met even when I would get frustrated. He is a GREAT tutor! I was able to get As in both of my physics classes and I definitely could not have done it without him.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I view my job as a physics resource ready to assist a students goals. My first step is to understand their goals and adapt the tutoring session accordingly. Options include test preparation, homework help, project help or general learning.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I took physics 1 in high school and college, and pursued a bachelors of science in Mechanical Engineering. Physics 1 concepts were applied all through my undergraduate major and into my career as a Mechanical Engineer.
