What is your typical process for working with a new student?
College Tutors provides academic support from remedial to advanced placement program development for students K - 12th grade. All of our tutoring is one-on-one and customized to each student with their success in mind. At the first tutor session, each family is given access to our website to review Work Reports submitted by their tutor to learn the work and progress in each session. This increases the accountability of the student and sparks opportunity for learning and follow up to continue at home.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We start with trained tutors or certified teachers and combine them with the required tools to perform excellent tutoring which makes a difference in the classroom and on report cards. Our tutors are great role models, many working hard each day in college, pursuing their own education.

Our Learning Center tutors are a $65.00/hour investment and in-home tutors are a $75.00/hour investment. AP/IB tutors are a $70.00/hour investment and $80.00/hour investment for in-home. Test Prep rates are a $75.00/hour for in-center sessions and $85.00/hr for in-home. Our test prep program requires a $150.00 materials fee for the College Tutors Prep books (2), The Real ACT/SAT Prep Guide, and access to additional practice tests.
