What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First I help come up with objectives that can be met within a certain amount of time that can get the student on the right track. Then from there come up with an action plan of how we can meet these objectives.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I was a student-athlete at the University of Minnesota so I personally had some of the best tutoring experiences myself working with tutors one on one. Even though I wasn't in need of tutoring it gave me a good understanding of how to tutor individuals in my own time.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
$15.00 per hour is reasonable enough for me. If travel is required then maybe consider a little extra for gas expenses.
