Luminary Literacy Services: Empowering Minds For Success

Greetings! I have 18 years of experience with reading and math interventions at the elementary level as well as an active teaching license with an endorsement in Middle School Communications and Literature and a Master's in Reading with a focus on Dyslexia and LD. I currently teach 6th grade English Language Arts in a suburban public school and am an adjunct faculty at Minnesota State University in the Graduate Reading Program. I have experience with ELL, including tutoring adults in the ABE program.

I truly enjoy helping build confidence and competence in my students. I became a teacher to inspire a love of learning in others. I am also an avid reader and writer, and nothing makes me happier than helping students build their skills so they can experience reading and writing for enjoyment.
