They give multiple check-ins to see how you like the tutor, how things are going, and ask your opinions. They really listen. The Tutor Thomas Chicas and my son immediately had a great connection. Thomas was very patient and was such a great help with preparing for tests, exams, and homework. Thomas thoroughly gave detailed explanations when there were things that my son did not understand in Calculus and Physics. My son was diagnosed 12 years ago with ADHD when in kindergarten and has always despised math. You can imagine the problems we've had with his school where anything math was concerned. Rivers of tears for him and many sleepless nights for me. After 3 weeks of working with Ms. Mel, he reported to me that he actually "liked" math now. I could not believe my ears!
