What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I will start with getting to know the child because in order to help someone improve we need to know each other then ill give them a quick test to see where they are and then I will start teaching them.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I work very well with kids and I volunteer a lot. I also have been doing math at the University of Minnesota for the past couple of years. I am good at elementary math, algebra 1 and 2, geometry, and pre-calculus
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I want to keep the pricing low so I would probably do 20-25 dollars per hour. If its to high I can work it out with you.
What types of students have you worked with?
Since I am still in high school. I haven't worked with middle schoolers yet but I have worked a lot with elementary schoolers.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Don't be scared to ask questions. I am not scary, and I will try my best to help you with the questions you have.
