Zail Tutoring

I am mostly experienced and excited about tutoring in writing! I was heavily involved with my high school newspaper, and was the editor in chief my senior year. I have also taken creative writing in college, and have engaged in a plethora of extensive papers. I am also a mentor for a weekly writing workshop, and have been for 3 years, in which I help 7-8th grade students to learn the basics of writing and explore what kind of writing interests them! I am also well experienced in the environmental studies realm, as it is what I study in college. Through my economics minor, I also have experience in math and statistics. I am really excited about tutoring in reading as well, as I absolutely love reading and books. I love tutoring because I love to help students find something that engages and resonates with them. I want learning to feel meaningful for students. It is really important for me in tutoring to connect with students and find a process that works together.
