My BA from the U of MN is Asian Languages & Literatures, focused on Chinese language & culture, with a 2nd major in Global Studies. After studying Chinese at the U here, I went thru the U to study in China. I subsequentlyl spent near 20 years in Asia, mainly in Mandarin speaking areas. I received my BS in Special Education in 2019 and my MA in Education in 2023. I am a licensed special education teacher in the state of Minnesota and have been teaching in special education for five years; I have primarily worked in K-5, but worked one year in middle school.
