Mrs. Luther's Tutoring

I specialize in supporting students in 6th-8th grade in reading, writing, study skills and oral expression. I tailor each lesson to their individual abilities, goals, and pace. What sets me apart is both my professional expertise and my personal experience. I am a licensed Special Education teacher with 9 years of experience helping students with diverse learning needs. I also understand the journey from a parent's perspective, as I am the mother of a child who has received services through an IEP. This gives me a unique understanding of the challenges families face and the importance of providing patient, compassionate, and effective support. I am well-versed in the Minnesota Read Act and have completed the state-required training in evidence-based reading instruction. I use a reading program that has been approved by the State of Minnesota, ensuring that the strategies and instruction I provide are grounded in research and aligned with current best practices.
