Hello! I'm Briza and graduated from Bethel University of St. Paul with Elementary Education (2014). I also hold a TESOL certification. Since graduating I've taught and coached elementary and some secondary students/ teams at international schools overseas for five years (Kazakhstan, Albania, Bahrain) as well as served as a camp counselor (prior to 2014) for English language immersion through Concordia Language Village (China, Brazil, Switzerland). More recently I've substitute taught ESL through Adult Basic Education.
It brings me such joy to partner with students of any age toward a goal- both for short and long term purpose. Let's determine where you are (any place is just fine!) and where you want to go. Huzzah!

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
To begin with we have a conversation to build connection and context (what are personal interests and motivations, favorite subjects in school, history with the subject and so forth). Then we talk about goals and resources (school text book etc) and the timeframe we'd like to accomplish certain tasks and master skills.
