Hi there! My name is Otis and I can help you with your writing needs. Whether you need assistance with learning to write, or are looking for an editor to help you with assignments, applications, and more - I can help. I have over 6 years of professional experience as an editor and copywriter. I hold a Master of Science in Professional Writing from NYU.

Over the past five years, I have worked as a licensed elementary teacher in diverse roles. I had two years in my own classroom, followed by three years in specialist roles. Throughout this time, I have especially enjoyed opportunities to tutor both students who need some reinforcement of concepts, as well as those looking for a challenge. I am comfortable teaching all subjects K-8, and have experience with public, private, and homeschool education. I was a trial attorney with the US Justice Dept for6 years and I trial attorney in private practice for almost forty years. Won several awards as an attorney including awards for my pro bono (free) service to the underprivileged.Was a law clerk to a judge on the Michigan Supreme Court for two years
