Hi there! I'm Savie, a recent Ferris State graduate with a bachelor's in Biology. I would love to help you or your student learn, practice, and fully grasp scientific concepts!
I have practical experience in laboratory science, human health care, and plant science aka Chemistry, Anatomy/Biochemistry, and Biology. Because I'm new to tutoring professionally I can give you a great rate!
Science has always been my strongest and most enjoyed topic, so being able to share my knowledge and passion with others is amazing! I truly enjoy seeing the "aha" moment for whomever I'm instructing; the moment when a concept really makes sense.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I prefer to identify what type of learning styles the student likes best so that I can display information in a relatable way. Solidifying what the student understands and building on what the student doesn't is my approach.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a bachelor's degree in Biology. I have worked in an environmental lab, food lab, adult care facility, and am currently working with hydroponics.
