About
My service stands out because I love to help people. I have a passion to see younger children advance in math. I am a minority, so I specifically love helping and mentoring people like me. I also can give them inspiration.
I enjoy working with children. It is important to me that I share my gifts in certain subjects. I want children to enjoy learning and not feel defeated just because they need more time adjusting to new material.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
My process includes getting to know them. The tutoring session would not be effective if they are not comfortable with me. It hinders their participation and willfullness to answer problems. From there, we can get into the lesson and tackle it together.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I currently work with children every week. I am a path leader for wolverine pathways which is a University of Michigan sponsored program. I spend my time connecting with children day to day. I tutor them with anything that they may be struggling with in school, and I am an overall role model for them.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with all grade levels, so K-12.
