About

Hi everyone! My name is Ryann and I am a senior bachelors of science canidate at Michigan State University. In highschool I worked as an honors society tutor where I tutored individuals in various sciences such as chemistry or biology, even a bit of physics. This love of tutoring traveled on to college where I work as an undergraduate learning assistant for Cellular and Molecular Biology. At MSU I'm also a peer advisor and a member of the MSU hearing board.

Along with my tutoring job, I am a physiology major and I've taken a variety of classes. Some of these classes include general chemistry (1 and 2), algebra based physics (1 and 2), upper level physiology courses, biology (1 and 2), Statistics, Organic chemistry (1 and 2), and much more! If you're curious about my GPA it's currently a 3.9 which has enabled me to be able to be on the pre- med track.

In terms of acomplishments, I have made the deans list for all six semesters I have been at state (meaning I have had a semester GPA of 3.5 or higher for all terms.) I have also recived the presidential service award where I volunteered more than 200 hours in a year time span.

I really love to connect with students and help them reach their true potential. More often then not, students just struggle to understand topics/lectures when they are presented a certain way and just need a little guidance in the right direction.

Ryann is great at breaking things down and taking different approaches to explaining things. When I was struggling she really listened to what I needed most.

Frequently asked questions

The first step would be getting to know the new student a little bit better, learn the things they are paticularily struggling with so we can focus on hitting those points home.

I'm currently an under graduate learning assistant at MSU, I help teach cellular and molecular biology to underclassmen students. I also work as a peer mentor/ advisor.
