Private Tutor

Hello! I have used my foreign language skills professionally for 10 years and I have traveled to Mexico, Japan, and Canada to enhance my skills. I graduated from Eastern Michigan University with a BA in Spanish and Japanese Language and culture, and a minor in French Language and Literature. During my studies, I received several awards for foreign language study, as well as participated in the undergraduate symposium where I compared the causative structure in Japanese with its western counterparts. At my workplace, I am the go to person to explain things to clients in a foreign language when even my bilingual colleagues get stuck.

I love talking about language, meeting people of all backgrounds and traveling.

Although new to this app, I have tutored for more than 12 years. I first focus on what you're looking for in a tutor, then after assessing you're proficiency, I will help create a plan for your pain points, while focusing new vocabulary on subjects you are interested in.

I have successfully tutored in the past and I have used my language skills at a professional level in personal finance counselling and in advertising, speaking with individuals at all levels within an organization.
