About
I Care Tutoring cares about each individual student. I have been tutoring for over 6 years. I study your childs learning styles. This helps determine how your child perceives a problem. It will allow us to identify their struggles and allow them to use different techniques Every child is different and I would love to work with your child 1:1.
I love to see children become excited about learning. When a kid doesn’t know something, they show it! They lack interest, confidence, and patience. When I see children, progress each session, it makes me want to keep going!

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
The first session will be about 2 hours. The student will take a placement test. I will go over a few mistakes. At the end of session, I will discuss results and areas of focus.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
How did you get started teaching?
2010, I had my first child. At the age of 2, I bought nothing but educational games. She was a quick learner. As she started public school at age 4, the teachers had nothing extra to give Peyton. I started to teach her again at home. Fast forward, I was able to quit my job and homeschool Peyton. As I began to teach her one on one, I realized not many teachers can do that. I was able to see her strengths and weaknesses. I was able to see how she perceived her work. I began talking with other parents, whose students were in public school, and their children needed help. I started first with a summer program and them it turned into all year. I do not consider my students just a job, I establish a relationship. I want them to know they are capable of overcoming anything!
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with students who do not know how to read or count. I have worked with students who didnt know how to articulate what they are reading or how to write a complete sentence. I have worked with students who have failed a grade. I have worked with students who didnt do well on tests. I have worked with Elementary Math to Geometry. I have worked with toddlers to high school in reading!
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
One of my clients that was failing a class, had gotten a 100% on her quiz after 2 sessions.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?

What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Do you understand the work that is given to you?
Would you pass a test, if it was given to you today?
Do you think you will remember this information by final exam?
