I am a 2x alumni of the ReadingCorps literacy tutoring program (a branch of AmeriCorps, a previously Federally funded program), which uses skills and tools proven to increase reading confidence for the long term. This program also included counting, numbers, adding, and subtracting techniques for preK and K level students.

Additionally while in school, per Michigan state standards, I was reading at a college level from 5th grade at 300 words per minute with over 80% retention.
