I left teaching in 2017 to pursue another career. I have always missed the classroom, but found other ways to fulfill my passion of teaching. I finished my Masters of Education in Reading in the summer of 2020. This last year when my two good friend’s sons went to kindergarten, I volunteered a few times a month in their classroom during their reading and writing time. I have a great understanding of young children and how to help and diagnose reading and writing issues and come up with strategies and skills to combat them. I have an active elementary education teaching certificate through 2028.

As an educator for over 25 years, I have been successful in teaching my students the skills they have needed to achieve their goals. I have a MA Degree in English and have two majors: English and French. I have taught at Berkley High School for over 20 years and have honed my teaching performance during that time.
