Biology Tutor

My name is Emily! I am a certified science teacher and my expertise is in biology. I taught high school biology for 3 years and one year included high school honors biology. I have taught a range of students from 9th grade through 12th grade. As a teacher, I believe in student centered learning- which includes hands on experiences, visual learning, and making connections to the material. My students have described me as being very energetic and passionate about science. They have also said, I make hard concepts easy for them to truly understand and not just memorize.
