Hi, my name is Marni.
I am an experienced special education teacher with over 25 years of in-classroom teaching experience. I am currently providing individualized tutoring and instruction to help all kids reach their full potential in this new style of learning. I am certified to teach ALL students but specialize in teaching struggling learners and learners that may have emotional concerns.
If your child has learning difficulties, autism, ADD/ADHD, organizational struggles, lacks strategies in reading comprehension, math problem solving, anxiety, or needs help with written language skills.... I CAN HELP!!
I am also a mom and I get the everyday struggles our kids face on a daily basis.
Writing IEP's, consultation, and advocating between school-home is also my speciality!
I love helping kids! Learning is a challenge, I personalize learning to meet the needs of my students. I enjoy seeing smiling faces when students feel successful!

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have over 30 years of experience in the classroom setting ranging from Kindergrten- high school. I have worked in public schools, charter schools and also Montessori schools. My wide range of experience helps me when teaching students with different abilities and needs.

My lessons start at $50/hour. I support the general education curriculum while teaching skills to improve comprehension, written language, decoding and math skills.
