Hi my name is Andrew, and I'm pursuing a degree in medical physics. As a physicist, I've found that teaching others is the best way for me to study. In that, I love figuring out the best and most intuitive ways to explain things. Make complex concepts easy to understand, with everyday analogies and simple wordings. Einstein said, "if you can't explain something simply, then you don't understand it, " and I live by that. I've excelled in being a tutor in the past, helping K-12 students in math, science, English, social sciences, etc. I hope to continue to foster a welcoming and understanding learning environment with students again. I am an enthusiastic individual who has spent the last three years teaching middle school language arts and history. Before that, as a education student, I was trained as a ReadingCorps tutor and provided one-on-one intervention to students in kindergarten through 3rd grade. I recently left the teaching profession to pursue a career in finance, but still have a passion for helping students learn and grow!

I help students read and grow by mastering the basic reading tools including letter sounds, phonics, comprehension, and fluency. I have coached many students and equipped them with the tools to become the very best reading and they grow!
