About
As a native Italian speaker and experienced Spanish educator, I bring over 17 years of teaching expertise to every lesson. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Spanish from Oakland University and a Master’s in Spanish Language and Literature from Wayne State University. My academic background, combined with my deep cultural and linguistic understanding, allows me to guide students not only through the mechanics of the language but also through the richness of Hispanic culture.
Throughout my career, I’ve taught Spanish at various levels, from middle and high school students to college learners and adult professionals. I specialize in creating personalized learning experiences that meet each student where they are. Whether you're working toward academic success, preparing for AP exams, or simply looking to become more confident in conversational Spanish, I tailor my approach to your individual goals and learning style.
My teaching method is immersive, communicative, and supportive. I focus on building real-world language skills—listening, speaking, reading, and writing—while also addressing grammar and vocabulary in a clear, approachable way. My students often appreciate my patience, encouragement, and ability to explain complex concepts in a way that makes sense. Above all, I believe language learning should be both challenging and enjoyable, and I strive to make every lesson meaningful and engaging.
