I work as an FPGA/software engineer for a day job and enjoy tutoring on the side. I've been doing this for a year now. It usually works better with people who want to really understand the material vs. pass the class. I love seeing other people get as excited as I am about how all this stuff works!

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Once we've had a quick phone call to make sure we are on the same page, we'll do your first lesson free of charge to make sure I'm the right person for your goals. This should also let us get to know each other and get a better idea of how often to meet, what to cover, etc.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a bachelor's in Computer Engineering and work as an FPGA Engineer, but also write in lots of different programming languages on a regular basis.
