Hi my name is Andrew, and I'm pursuing a degree in medical physics. As a physicist, I've found that teaching others is the best way for me to study. In that, I love figuring out the best and most intuitive ways to explain things. Make complex concepts easy to understand, with everyday analogies and simple wordings. Einstein said, "if you can't explain something simply, then you don't understand it, " and I live by that. I've excelled in being a tutor in the past, helping K-12 students in math, science, English, social sciences, etc. I hope to continue to foster a welcoming and understanding learning environment with students again. I am a 26 year-old recent college graduate from Michigan State University. I am young so most of my students feel comfortable around me and I can relate to them easily. I also am familiar with the new teaching styles in school. I love working with students and teaching them studying skills and watching them improve in the classroom. I am currently pursuing a Bachelor's in Secondary Education: English at Rochester College. I do have experience with mentoring people in Test Prep (SAT/ACT: Reading and Writing), understanding types of literature (Poetry, xlassic vs. modern), and basic computer skills (writing or creating projects using Microsoft Office). I love reading, understanding, and writing about literature. I also enjoy learning about the history and culture behind various literary genre: Modern, African American, Latino, 18th Century British, Native American literature.
