About
I am a elementary teacher that loves my job! I have been working at an elementary school for 3 years and have experience in 1st & 4th grade. I have also taught advanced math in 4th grade. I have a degree in Elementary Education, and Special Education.
I love watching students learn new things and helping their confidence grow. I love turning statements like "I am not good at math" into "This is a new math challenge, I need help getting started". Celebrating student accomplishments is my favorite part the job!

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
My passion is getting to know the students. So my proceess is first understanding where we are starting, meeting their needs where they are at, then making goals with them that they can be excited about, finaly, helping them reach those goals.
