Science 4 Life
About
I'm currently in my third year of college and have just completed my Dental Admission Test (DAT) in hope to pursue dentistry. I'm majoring in biology. I have been learning chemistry and biology since High School where I've taken AP Chemistry, AP, Biology, etc... I love teaching science and spreading my knowledge because I break down material to make it very simple for students to comprehend it easier. There are many mnemonics and techniques I have accumulated over the last couple of years which I'd love to share with everyone.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
As soon as I begin tutoring, I like to ask students what they currently know on the topic I'm tutoring them in and ask them what they struggle with the most. Once I determine their weaknesses, I work with the student and break down the topic they're struggling with to make it as simple as possible for them to comprehend. Once I finish my lesson, I like to give them a mini little "quiz" at the end to test their knowledge.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been tutoring at my local church a lot lately with kids ranging from elementary school to middle school. Also, I have worked with students in my college in specific areas of chemistry to help them develop an understanding of material better.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I charge $20 for an hour, $35 for two hours, and $40 for three hours.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with a variety of students ranging from elementary school to college.
