About

Email: [email protected]

I received an A+ in organic chemistry at the University of Michigan Ann Arbor, where I graduated in 2020. I worked at UofM as an Orgo TA for 3 years during my undergrad and have been tutoring since I graduated.

I am available to work on all aspects of organic chemistry including exam review, concept review and clarification, coursepack/homework problems.

I work closely with students and customize my approach and materials to their needs. I always bring slides and charts to help keep the material organized and send back annotated slides with the material covered during each session. I also work with students to build charts and review sheets tailored to their learning styles.

I love to work individually with students and adapt my teaching style to each person's specific needs. I always love to find new ways to explain a concept and I never give up until a student has a good grasp of the material! I always provide a safe and welcoming environment to ask any questions you might have about the material.

You don't know where to start but would like a review of a concept covered in class? No worries, I already have a prepared lesson to go over with you that will be customized based on your needs.

She made personalized powerpoints each week outlining topics that I found most difficult. These powerpoints were extremely helpful when it came time to review these topics for an exam. I highly recommend Beatrice!

Beatrice was the best organic chemistry tutor ever, despite the fact that it was during covid and she tutored me over Zoom! She is so patient and went out of her way to thoroughly answer extra questions Id send her before exams. She truly cared about my success, which is all you can ask for in a tutor!

Beatrice was able to answer any question I had about organic chemistry! She always gave great explanations, and I left every tutoring session feeling like I understood a lot more than I did before. After she started tutoring me, my class grade increased by a huge amount because I understood the concepts a lot better.

Beatrice was extremely helpful in explaining complex concepts for my ORGO1 class and worked through practice with problems I brought from class as well as went over foundational knowledge with me. Beatrice was always open to questions, spent extra time sending additional materials she had, explained tips and tricks, gave exam advice, and would adjust each meeting based on my needs and what I was struggling with. She is extremely knowledgeable, flexible, nice, and an exceptional tutor I would recommend to anyone!

    Frequently asked questions

After I have gotten in contact with a student, I always ask what their goals are with each session ahead of time so that I can come prepared with slides tailored to the topics and questions of the student. However, sending topics, problems, or material ahead of time is not necessary, I always have prepared slides to review either way.

I received an A+ in organic chemistry I (Chem 210) and and A in organic chemistry II (Chem 215) at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, where I graduated with a BS in Movement Science on a pre-med path in May 2020. I worked as an Orgo discussion TA at the University of Michigan for 3 years and have been tutoring since I graduated in 2020. As a discussion TA, I prepared reviews and problems to go over in class with students, so I have a lot of experience explaining organic chemistry concepts to students with many different learning styles. I also helped proofread and grade exams, so I can always offer guidance on exam-taking and preparation. I will begin medical school in fall 2022.
