I have been in the P-CCS school district for 13 years as a one on one special Ed para. I work with students either one on one or small groups to help with reading, writing, early math, letter and sound recognition and learning challenges . I have volunteered in the school ( 2007 -2012 ) helping with reading and writing skills while still working part time for the district. I have worked as a private tutor , theaters camp counselor and safety town leader.
I love seeing kids, learn and helping them achieve their goals. I love working with kids to help achieve goals. They never thought they could. All children have potential to learn and thrive some just need a little help getting there. Not all children are people learn the same way, and at the same pace over my years in the school and working with my own children I have learned different teaching styles, different reward, styles, and different learning styles and I believe help my students reach their potential and achieve their goals..

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have 10 years working as a special para educator. I have worked as a special Ed , one on one or small group para. I spent the last two years during Covid working as a private tutor for two elementary virtual academy students. I have worked in middle school but focus primarily with elementary school and preschool .
